VALERIE FINDS ‘THE’ PLACE
Valerie found the perfect place for her dream restaurant in The 54th Street & Monon Shops located on East 54th Street between College and Keystone Avenues just east of the Monon Trail. The lively colors, antique chandeliers, original art by local artists, and the outside dining Court Yard make Zest! turned the place into a truly unique locally owned eating place.
THE DOWNHOME GOES UPTOWN FOOD & SERVICE CONCEPT
Downhome Goes Uptown is a food concept that takes downhome dishes made with loving hands and raises them to a fun and surprising sophistication level. It takes intensely flavored ingredients and combines them in creative ways using the imaginative techniques worthy of big-city chefs.
Downhome Goes Uptown is also a service concept that means everyone who comes to Zest! is treated with the welcoming friendliness rooted in the warm hospitality of Valerie’s southern family heritage.
ZEST! EXPANDS
Since welcoming the first customers in June of 2006, the size of the Zest! Exciting Food Creations space has tripled due to popular demand. Restaurant offerings have been expanded to include DINNER where you can relax with an amazing original menu in an ambiance of candlelight and jazz. Stylish wines and specialty beers have also been added to the restaurant offerings.
Chef Valerie invented more and more delectable goodies to eat inside, in the outside Court Yard, and to carry out. She and her staff have served more satisfied catering clients than ever before and invented Zest At Night special events where live music, specially created menus, and wine, beer, and culinary experts share fun evenings together with customers.
